The Vermont Foodbank's network of 280 hunger relief agencies - including food shelves, food pantries, daycare centers, senior centers, etc. - are located in towns and cities throughout all of Vermont's 14 counties. Just as the individuals who access their services come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, so too do those who donate their time and energy to operate the programs and distribute the food that help Vermont's receive the support they need.

Each year, Joe Dauscher, Network Services Manager, visits hundreds of food shelves, meal sites, shelters, senior centers and after-school programs throughtout the state.  Joe has agreed to share the stories of organizations around the state that are providing food and of the men and women who are working to end hunger in Vermont.
