Hunger Action Month
September is Hunger Action Month and we're inviting you to get involved.
During the month of September, we want to mobilize everyone in Vermont to take action in the fight against hunger. Whether it’s by sharing on social media, advocating and raising awareness, making a donation, or volunteering, individuals can find a way to make a difference.

Spoon the State House Lawn
On Wednesday, September 30, we're going to "spoon" the State House lawn in Montpelier!
We'll need volunteers to help us stake spoons into the lawn - don't worry, we have permission! - to represent the 153,000 Vermonters we serve each year. We're hoping this very visual installation will shed light on how large the problem of hunger is in Vermont. But we can't do this without your help!
Date: Wednesday, September 30th
Time: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Guest speakers: 12:15 pm
Duration: We'll need volunteers throughout the whole day. Sign up here.
Plus: The Good Food Truck will be selling food throughout the day!
The Vermont Foodbank serves 153,000 Vermonters - that's 1 in 4 of our neighbors. Hunger Action Month is your opportunity to join a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our neighbors in need. Sign-up below!
