Each day the Vermont Foodbank works to end hunger by distributing millions of pounds of food to Vermonters in need. We also address the issues of hunger and poverty by engaging with policy makers.

Please join us in advocating for a Vermont without hunger. Let your state and federal elected officials know that hunger is an important issue to you. We have seen the difference that letters, emails and phone calls can make. Click here for thelatest news on advocacy issues.  You can also subscribe to our e-news and check the Advocacy box.

There are events throughout the year that help us raise awareness about hunger in Vermont, including Hunger Awareness Day in February, the Hunger Action Conference in May, and Hunger Action Month in September.
