Corporate Involvement

Strengthen brand • Build loyalty • Invest in your community

Thank you for your interest in the Vermont Foodbank! The Foodbank offers dynamic partnership opportunities, from unique volunteer experiences to exclusive program support— all to ensure that no one in Vermont goes hungry. Below is a brief introduction to the programs and events your company can become involved with.

Financial Gifts

Contribute to the community in a meaningful way by helping end hunger in Vermont through a financial donation, sponsorship or matching gift program. Every $1 donated to the Vermont Foodbank provides 3 meals to families in need. Highlight your company’s tax-exempt donation with a check presentation hosted at the Foodbank, or work with our digital team to promote your support on social media. Contact Cassie Lindsay, our Donor & Corporate Relations Manager, at 802-477-4131 or clindsay@vtfoodbank.org

Volunteerism

Workplace and corporate groups are welcome to volunteer at the Vermont Foodbank. There may be no more effective way to help employees feel good about their company and themselves than participating in a community-focused project. Corporate teams help out at our warehouses in Barre and Brattleboro with everything from sorting food donations to assembling bags for the kids in our BackPack program. Learn more about volunteering.

Matching Gifts

Matching employee contributions is an increasingly popular way to demonstrate corporate support of staff and the community. When an employee makes a donation, the company's matching gift can double the impact of the contribution. The Vermont Foodbank can provide promotional materials to educate staff about food insecurity and the work we do. We can also come to your company to make a presentation or invite employees to our warehouse to see the Foodbank in action! Learn more about matching gifts.

Cause Marketing

Cause marketing encompasses a wide variety of commercial activity that aligns your company or brand with a cause to generate both business and societal benefits. Learn more about cause marketing.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships provide companies with an opportunity to align with the Vermont Foodbank’s statewide brand, enhance reputation through high-visibility recognition and strengthen relationships with clients. The Foodbank has a wide range of regular and one-time sponsorship opportunities including our Annual Conference, youth programs, Thanksgiving turkey program or underwriting our quarterly newsletter.
