The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook
When Tracey Medeiros was writing The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook, she traveled the Green Mountain State in search of not only those celebrated chefs but the hard-working farmers who provide them with their fresh and wholesome ingredients as well. Collecting their stories and some 125 of their delicious, rustic-yet-refined, Vermont inspired recipes, Medeiros presents an irresistible gastronomic portrait of this singular state. A portion of the royalties earn from The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook directly benefit the Vermont Foodbank.
Healthy College Snacks
Healthy College Snacks sends boxes of healthy snack foods to college and boarding school students on a monthly basis. The company donates back to the schools to which the boxes are shipped and donates 3 meals per box to feed hungry children. The Vermont Foodbank receives $1.00 for each box shipped inside the state of Vermont.
There is nothing like wandering through a Vermont farmers’ market on a sunny summer afternoon; it’s a unique experience in which good food brings good people together to support Vermont’s local economy. Anyone who is lucky enough to have had such an experience probably feels the same way Vermont Snacks does: they want to share it. Each month Vermont Snacks ships a neatly wrapped package of 4-6 local, artisan snacks to subscribers. For every snack box sold, one meal is donated to the Vermont Foodbank.
