Start a Giving Circle

Throughout history, passionate individuals have joined together to make life better in their communities.  Today, thousands of donors pool their money, energy and ideas to create giving circles.  According to the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, giving circles have emerged the last decade as a growing and significant philanthropic trend among donors of all wealth levels and backgrounds.

A giving circle is formed when individuals (family members, groups of friends, coworkers) come together and pool their dollars, decide together where to donate their collective contributions, and learn together about their community.

Giving Circles bring value to the community with grant dollars and informed, engaged donors and volunteers.  Circles provide donors with opportunities to learn, share and grow as philanthropist.  Giving circles also build community and engage new people in its development.
