Donate to the Vermont Foodbank
The work of the Vermont Foodbank relies heavily on the generosity of donors.* Every $20 donation helps the Foodbank acquire and distribute 50 pounds of fresh, nutritious food to Vermonters in need.
Because we are the state’s ONLY food bank, donations reach every community across Vermont.
Your gift helps the Foodbank:
- Supply network partner agencies with nutritious food year-round.
- Keep seven trucks on the road six days a week, distributing food to our Network Partners around the state.
- Rescue food that would otherwise be thrown away from supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and other locations.
- Operate our kitchen where food we’ve rescued is used to create healthy meals for meal sites, food shelves, & senior centers.
- Operate the Foodbank Farm in partnership with Food Works at Two Rivers Center where fresh vegetables are harvested and then distributed to our Network Partners.
- Distribute food through USDA programs such as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to income-eligible individuals.
- Make 5,000-pound deliveries through our Neighborhood Pantry Express program to Network Partners around the state.
