Concert Series with Bluegrass Gospel Project Proves to be a Success

For the third year in a row, the Vermont Foodbank had the privilege of teaming up with Vermont’s premiere sextet, the Bluegrass Gospel Project, to raise funds and raise awareness of hunger in our state.  This talented group performed a total of four times across the state-in Woodstock, Brattleboro, and two shows in Montpelier.  Significant funds were raised for struggling Vermonters through this event.  We thank all our friends in Bluegrass Gospel Project-Gene, Jim, Patty, Paul, Steve and Taylor- for their continued support and belief in a hunger-free Vermont.  A special thanks also goes out to our major sponsors of this event: BlueCross BlueSheild of Vermont, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Chittenden Bank, Jet Service Envelope Company, National Life, Prentiss Smith, Vermont Public Radio, and Trust Company of Vermont.
