Host a Fund of Food Drive

Thank you for your interest in holding a food or fund drive for the Vermont Foodbank!

Hunger is a problem for 153,000 Vermonters who rely on the Vermont Foodbank each year. Through a network of 215 agencies, the Vermont Foodbank helps feed as many as 1 in 4 Vermonters each year. We could not do this without your support. Here is some information to get you started:

Fund Drive

Your gift of $3 can help us provide 5 meals to neighbors in need. Just think what a group or community-wide fund drive could do!

Fund drives – or financial donations – are by far the most efficient ways to support the Vermont Foodbank. Each year, we distribute 12 million pounds of food to neighbors in need. We could not do this without the support of our donors.

If you’re ready to run a fund drive, please fill out our Event Proposal Form.

Food Drive – Community

Food drives are a great way to engage your community and to support your local food shelves or meal sites.

Vermont Foodbank staff can provide resources for your food drive and help find the best donation site for the food. We especially encourage food drive organizers to focus on the foods most needed by the donation site.

Food Drive – Corporate

Donations from grocery stores, food distributors, company-wide food drives and large events are an important source of food for the Vermont Foodbank.

Vermont Foodbank staff can provide resources and help coordinate pick-ups or deliveries.
