Community Kitchen


Community Kitchen drives the Vermont Foodbank’s prepared-foods program. This production kitchen turns donated, rescued, and locally grown Foodbank Farm foods into nutritious meals for food-insecure Vermonters accessing charitable food in their communities. The Community Kitchen is also home to a culinary education and food-safety training program, an entrepreneurial opportunity that serves the food production needs of other not-for-profit organizations, and a volunteer opportunity that offers community members with culinary interests a way to help produce nutritious meals for our Network Partners.
