Note: Each eligible person receives their own food box at one designated site.
Who is eligible for CSFP?
- 60 years of age or older, living in Vermont
- Individual and/or household income will be used to determine eligibility
- Each household member may be eligible, and will need to complete an application form
People can participate in other federal nutrition programs, like 3SquaresVT, at the same time. Find out if you are eligible for 3SquaresVT.
People enrolled in this program will pick up their box monthly at a designated location. Click here for a list of pickup sites. Please note—this list is for reference only. You will be assigned to a pickup site once your application is approved.

Interested in helping? Individual donors help us supplement the CSFP boxes, often adding fresh produce, bread and other foods to the monthly deliveries. Please consider making a gift to the Vermont Foodbank today. Volunteers are also needed to help at drop sites.
*The Commodity Supplemental Food Program is a federal nutrition program that offers free monthly boxes of food filled with canned fruits and vegetables, juice, cereal, pasta, cheese, shelf-stable milk and canned meats. CSFP participants can utilize additional federal nutrition programs such as 3SquaresVT. Income restrictions apply, visit vtfoodbank.org/csfp for details.
