Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Co., a Chino, Calif., establishment, is voluntarily recalling more than 143.3 million pounds of raw and frozen beef products


Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Co., a Chino, Calif., establishment, is voluntarily recalling more than 143.3 million pounds of raw and frozen beef products that the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service has determined to be unfit for human food because the cattle did not receive complete and proper inspection. 

Although the Vermont Foodbank did not stock or distribute any of the beef that has been recalled, please check your inventory for the possibility that your program may have received the recalled beef through local donations or purchases.Please remove and dispose all the recalled beef in question.
