Vermont Public Television and Chittenden Bank Partner to Support the Vermont Foodbank

During Vermont Public Televisions fall pledge drive, supporters of VPT who made a donation to support public television were also supporting the Vermont Foodbank. Through the generous support of Chittenden Bank, for every donation made to VPT, three meals were donated to the Vermont Foodbank.

With the support of Chittenden Bank, Vermont Public television and the community of viewers raised awareness and funds for the Vermont Foodbank in a very significant way. Over the course of the pledge drive, the VPT community raised more than 28,000 meals for our neighbors in need of food help. And with the current situation of hunger in Vermont, this donation could not have come at a better time.

Our most sincere thanks to Chittenden Bank and Vermont Public Television for their leadership in the fight against hunger and to the more than 9,000 VPT supporters who also supported the Foodbank during this most crucial time. We are so grateful for your support!
