The Grasping Hand of Hunger
Hunger is reaching for all of us, every day. Being “hungry” is an everyday occurrence—just a skipped breakfast, or a late dinner. And many of us are fortunate to know that that next meal is just another hour away—we are able to grab a snack to get us through.

As is typically the case, the Vermont Foodbank has been busy canvassing the state spreading the word about the important work we do, and working to raise funds and awareness to support that work. Special events are a great way to achieve both of these goals, and we’re very thankful to have a number of generous business partners that make this possible.
Vermont Arts Council holds 2nd Annual On-Line Art Auction
Again this year, the Vermont Art Council is pooling the time, talents and energies of local artists to raise money for the Vermont Foodbank.

Foodbank Partners Can Help the Census Bureau Count All Vermonters in 2010
The Vermont Foodbank is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to make sure all Vermonters are included when the entire population of the United States is counted next year.
