Is Your Business Ready to Go Orange?

Hunger affects 1 in 7 Vermonters. As individuals, businesses, charities and government, we all have a role to play in getting food to those who are in need.  Partnerships are especially important to fulfilling the Vermont Foodbank’s mission of gathering and sharing quality food so that no one in Vermont will go hungry.

This September, we are asking businesses and organizations to Go Orange for Hunger Action Month to help mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger.

Ways to Go Orange for Hunger Action Month

  • Sell Orange: Sell limited edition orange Vermont Foodbank bird stickers for $1. Each sale will help the Foodbank provide 3 meals for our neighbors in need.
  • Use Orange: Decorate storefronts with orange. Display Go Orange table tents or include Go Orange postcards in shopping bags or on counter.
  • Wear Orange: Have your employees wear Go Orange pins or shirts.
  • Share Orange: Use an orange profile or cover photo on your Facebook page for the month of September and share our social media updates.

If you are a business or organization interested in Going Orange during September, please complete the Go Orange Form or download the form here. Stephani Kononan, our Marketing & Promotions Manager, will follow up with you soon.  If you have questions, contact her at skononan@vtfoodbank.org or 802-477-4121.
