The Vermont Foodbank announced the start of Drive For Charity this month. For just $5, participants can enter to win their choice of a brand new Subaru Impreza, Toyota Corolla, Scion tC or Honda Civic. The winner’s choice of vehicle will be donated to the Vermont Foodbank by 802 Cars.
“We’ve wanted to partner with a nonprofit to hold the Drive for Charity for a long time,” said Dave Birmingham, 802 Cars owner. “We want to give away a great car and raise a ton of money for the Foodbank, and we are thrilled that our idea is finally getting off the ground.”
“We are so grateful to 802 Cars for their long-time partnership in the work of ending hunger in Vermont,” said John Sayles, Vermont Foodbank CEO. “Because 802 Cars in donating the winning vehicle, every dollar of every ticket sold will go directly to feeding our neighbors in need!
