TD Charitable Foundation Supports the Vermont Foodbank with Donation

April 16th, 2018 – Burlington, VT – The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, recently donated a total of $25,000 to the Vermont Foodbank as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community.

The Vermont Foodbank is the state’s largest hunger-relief organization, providing nutritious food and promoting health through a network of 215 food shelves, meal sites, senior centers and after-school programs, and directly to families, children, older adults and individuals at schools and hospitals. This donation from the TD Charitable Foundation, will support the purchase and distribution of food for people in Vermont struggling with hunger.

“The Vermont Foodbank is truly grateful to the TD Charitable Foundation for their ongoing, generous support,” says Vermont Foodbank CEO, John Sayles. “Since 2012, they have donated $205,000 to our neighbors facing hunger.
