Vacation

Vacation time is earned before it is granted. Employees are expected to use their accrued vacation time before their hire date anniversary. No more than 80 hours of accrued vacation time may be carried over past an employee’s anniversary date.

Vacation time is earned on the following schedule:

  • First Year – 3.69 hours x 26 pay periods (12 days annually)
  • 2-4 Years – 4.62 hours x 26 pay periods (15 days annually)
  • 4 Years and over – 6.16 hours x 26 pay periods (20 days annually)

Holidays

The Foodbank observes the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • All President’s Day
  • Town Meeting Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  •  Day After Thanksgiving
  • The week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
  • Employee Birthday
Sick Days

Sick leave is earned before it is granted up to a maximum  of 12 days per year with accumulation stopping at a to
