Food Shelf Food Safety Training

This self-led training covers the basics of food shelf food safety. This training satisfies the food safety requirement for network partner agencies that distribute food, but do not prepare, cook and serve food. Topics covered will include: food storage, good personal hygiene, controlling time and temperature, cleaning and sanitizing, among others. Cost is $10 per person to cover the materials and shipping. All participants must prepay by check or purchase order to receive the training materials. Upon payment, book and study materials will be sent out to participants. This training is for network partners only – those agencies that meet our qualifications and who have a signed membership agreement with the Vermont Foodbank.
