Corporate Giving

The Foodbank offers dynamic partnership opportunities, from unique volunteer experiences to exclusive program support— all to ensure that no one in Vermont goes hungry. Below is a brief introduction to the programs and events your company can become involved with that provide staff development opportunities, strengthen your brand, and invest in your community. Contribute to the community in a meaningful way. End hunger in Vermont through a financial donation, sponsorship or matching gift program. Every $3 donated to the Vermont Foodbank provides 5 meals to families in need. Highlight your company’s tax-exempt donation with a check presentation hosted at the Foodbank, or work with our digital team to promote your support on social media. Contact Allison Mindel, our Major Donor & Corporate Relations Manager, at 802-477-4108 or amindel@vtfoodbank.org.

There may be no more effective way to help employees feel good about their company and themselves than participating in a community-focused project. Workplace and corporate teams are welcome to help at our warehouses in Barre, Rutland, and Brattleboro with everything from sorting food donations to assembling bags for the BackPack program. Learn more about volunteering.
Matching employee contributions is an increasingly popular way to demonstrate corporate support of staff and the community. When an employee makes a donation, your company’s matching gift can double the impact of the contribution. The Vermont Foodbank can provide promotional materials to educate staff about food insecurity and the work we do. We can also come to your company to make a presentation or welcome your employees to our warehouse to see the Foodbank in action! Learn more about matching gifts.
Cause marketing encompasses a wide variety of commercial activity that aligns your company or brand with a cause that generates business while having a meaningful societal impact. Learn more about cause marketing.
