Update: 12:13 p.m. – Swanton MRE distribution temporarily closed until 4PM; due to a higher turnout than expected, the MRE distribution in Swanton has run out of MREs and is temporarily closed while we await the arrival of more. We expect these additional MREs to arrive at 4PM and will reopen the distribution then and extend the hours beyond 6PM as needed.
The Vermont Foodbank is working with FEMA and the VT National Guard to distribute MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 22 at Franklin County Airport, 629 Airport Rd, Swanton, VT.
Anyone in need of food is welcome and can receive a seven-day supply of Meals Ready-to-Eat (MRE) for each member of their household.
