Meal-Site ServSafe Food Manager’s Training Registration

This day long (8-hour) intensive course focuses on sanitation in food service operations. Learn the basics of safe food handling and how to avoid food borne illness. Get training on safe receiving, food storage, preparation and serving, and cooling and reheating. Proper cleaning techniques and pest management will also be covered. Completion of the course and a passing grade on the multiple choice test result in ServSafe Food Manager’s Certification (now required for all Vermont Foodbank Network Partners serving prepared foods on site).  This training is for network partners and school staff only.  Cost is $65 for a Network Partner and $80 for a school staff member.  All participants must prepay by check or purchase order to complete their registration and be confirmed for the class.  Upon registration, you will receive an invoice via e-mail that you are responsible for submitting to your organization for payment.  Book and study materials will be sent out to participants one week prior to the training.  It is recommended that participants review study materials and complete book practice tests prior to the training.
