From September 13-19 of this month, we’ve celebrated Volunteer Action Week as part of Hunger Action Month. You can read more about the amazing volunteers we’ve profiled here.

We would also like to thank the many incredible organizations who send us volunteers.

We are able to feed 153,000 of our neighbors because of the hard work and dedication of wonderful community members, companies, organizations, schools and clubs. The 1,500 volunteers who help us feed our neighbors not only get tons of great work done, they also contribute passion, ideas, unique perspectives, new partnerships and help us to raise awareness about hunger.

Each one of them makes a difference and we are grateful to the many organizations in our community which help coordinate groups to volunteer with us. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community working together to end hunger!

This year, we had help from many different groups. In no particular order, here are a few that are especially dedicated. Thank you to all!
