Gleaning
Gleaning is the act of harvesting excess vegetables from farm fields that would otherwise not be harvested. Vermont Foodbank is no longer operating a gleaning food rescue program.
We are excited about the work of the Vermont Gleaning Collective and encourage you to check out their website for information on their gleaning efforts throughout the state.
