I’m happy to let you know that our summer edition of Kernels is landing in mailboxes and available online. In this issue you’ll read about community leaders and their visions for food security and the Foodbank’s role in supporting those visions.

Vermont Foodbank applauds the work of the legislature and Governor Phil Scott for the passage and signing of bill H.167, into law on May 27th creating Act 34 of 2025 to establish a Vermonters Feeding Vermonters grant program at the Vermont Agency of Agriculture and Food Markets.
Vermont Foodbank celebrated with community on Monday, June 2 from 3 pm to 5 pm, recognizing the completion of a nearly one-year renovation project that included significant improvements to the Foodbank’s Rutland Distribution Center.
